Jenna Madden Powers Attorney at Law
Jenna Madden Powers concentrates her civil litigation practice in the areas of general liability and commercial litigation. She joined Johnson & Condon as a law clerk in 2007, after her first year of law school, and became an associate in 2009.
Ms. Powers graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2009. She received a CALI Award in "Feminist Jurisprudence", the 2008 Douglas K. Amdahl Scholarship and was nominated for a Burton Award as author of the best memorandum of law in her first year writing class. While at William Mitchell, she was a member of Delta Theta Phi, participated as a Volunteer Tax Preparer for the State of Minnesota, served as a Student Mentor and served on the Facilities Committee.
Ms. Powers received her Master's Degree in Leadership-Public Policy in 2006 from the University of St. Thomas. During her time at St. Thomas she participated in the Federal Legislative Policy Internship to Washington, D.C. and interned with the Minnesota Women's Campaign Fund.
Ms. Powers graduated with high distinction from the University of Iowa in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She also received her Secondary Education Certification and is certified to teach and coach in Iowa and Minnesota. As an undergraduate, she was named to the Dean's List all semesters and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Lambda Theta, and received the Seidler Student Teaching Scholarship.
Outside the office she enjoys running, playing volleyball, traveling and following the Iowa Hawkeyes.
