Shamus O'Meara Presents at Minnesota and National School Boards Association Annual Conferences
Shamus O'Meara, who heads the firm's Education Practice Group, continues to present to state and national forums on school safety. Shamus recently presented at the Minnesota School Boards Association Leadership Conference on the new Minnesota School Safety Center along with the safety center's director, Wade Setter, former U.S. Attorney Tom Heffelfinger and Minneapolis emergency preparedness manager Rocco Forte. In March, Shamus will present with the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Department of Education at the 2008 National School Boards Association Annual Conference in Orlando. The presentation is entitled, Partnering for School Safety - A Comprehensive Education and Law Enforcement Approach to School Safety and Violence Prevention.
