Pro Bono Work Results in Health Insurer Agreeing to Pay
for Bilateral Cochlear Implants
As part of our informal pro bono program, Johnson & Condon lawyers Mark Condon and Brian McSherry helped a client convince his insurance company to reverse its course and pay for cochlear implants. While the parents deserve most of the credit, Johnson & Condon was pleased to provide the legal research, counseling and other assistance for discussions with the health insurer.
Now young Ben will be able to hear his parents before he responds with a "No" . . . "I don’t want to" . . . or "You can’t make me."
In the end, the resolution was the combination of great clients getting a little help from us to make their health insurer do the right thing.
